INKTOBER

2020 - 2022

Fun fact, Halloween is my favorite holiday, so when Inktober rolls around, I can’t help myself. I try to stay true to actually doing one drawing a day (admittedly, I fall behind on occasion and have some catching up to do, well, because of… life). Aside from the prompts listed by the official Inktober account, I add a couple of other bumpers to the 31 days of drawing.

  1. I have to use a different medium and style from what I used in the previous year. In 2020, I had to use a 50/50 mix of ink and digital painting. In 2021, I had to use a brush pen exclusively. Finally, in 2022, I used whie ink on black paper.

  2. I have to choose a song a day and build a spooky Spotify playlist that accompanies each drawing.
